To mark St Andrew’s Day today (Friday 30th November) Manchester Airport has offered free access to its Escape Lounge to all those named Andrew or Andrea.
With rail, air and coach connections from Manchester Airport to a range of Scottish cities, the Northern hub is a convenient choice for people north of the border wishing to connect to over 200 global destinations.
All day today, Andrews or Andreas have been able to present their passport and a valid boarding card at one of the three lounges in each terminal to gain complimentary access.
Tricia Williams, COO at Manchester Airport, commented: “We thank the 500,000 people from Scotland who chose to fly from Manchester each year.”
Tricia added: “The Escape Lounges offer something for every type of passenger – be that business or leisure – and we look forward to welcoming Andrews and Andreas.”
Access to the Escape Lounges at Manchester Airport normally costs from £21, and they offer guests a wide range complimentary food and drinks, free wifi and a selection of newspapers and magazines to read.
