Hypnosis is one of the most effective ways of giving up smoking.
A study carried out by the University of Iowa which was published in the Journal of Applied Psychology, clearly showed that people were six times more likely to give up smoking after a single session of hypnotherapy, they also remained non-smokers for over 12 months after the session.
This was in comparison to those who used nicotine replacement therapy.
