Wilmslow will be exploding with colour this November!
Alderley and Wilmslow Musical Theatre Company (AWMTC) are performing Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at The Evans Theatre, Wilmslow Leisure Centre, 6th-10th November.
In celebration of its 50th anniversary, the full, unabridged show has been released to a handful of adult amateur theatre companies, and AWMTC are proud to have been chosen to be one of them.
The story is one of love and redemption in ancient times, as favoured son Joseph, with his coat of many colours, becomes exiled by his jealous brothers.
He then finds his true calling in the strange new land of Egypt while coming to grips with the power of lies and injustice.
Tina Spiers, chair of AWMTC, said: “This year’s show is set to be spectacular. We have an amazing director, Heidi Cook, and a stunning set.
“We’ve been rehearsing hard for many months to make sure we do it justice, and our hard work will deliver an astonishing show.”
Tickets are selling out fast – they’re nearly all gone for the Saturday matinee – so grab them before they go!
