Cheshire pilot crowned ‘hottest vegan’!

Ciarán O’Shea will set sail on a luxury European cruise

As we reported last week, Cheshire is home to a ‘super hot’ vegan pilot…!

Well, a combination of charm, animal activism, and compassion has now secured Ciarán O’Shea top honours in PETA’s UK and Ireland’s Hottest Vegan Competition 2018.

The 22-year-old was crowned as the contest’s winner, and has received a prize comprising of a trip for two on the luxury five-night Christmas Markets cruise along Germany and Switzerland’s Rhine and Moselle rivers.

Ciarán who works as an airline pilot, commented: “I have a job which allows me to meet a lot of people, almost all of whom I talk to about [being vegan].”

He says he’s also encouraging his employer to increase the availability of vegan options on flights, including stocking non-dairy milk options.

PETA director Elisa Allen said: “Ciarán O’Shea is living proof that a clear conscience and a compassionate heart are the hidden ingredients of hotness.

“PETA encourages everyone inspired by his integrity and vitality to follow his lead and give going vegan a try.”

The organisation selected two winners – one male and one female – based on several factors, including the results of a public vote

The contest is modelled, in part, on the organisation’s Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrities contest, which has previously honoured fellow local John Bishop amongst others.
