Northwich Business Improvement District (BID) has partnered with local charity Cheshire Down’s Syndrome Support Group (CDSSG) to bring a fun Christmas Bauble Trail to Northwich.
Coming to this year’s Northwich Christmas Extravaganza, taking place on Saturday 24th November, the event will see a trail of baubles placed around the town.
The BID has purchased twelve baubles off the charity, and twelve retailers have volunteered to take part in the trail.
Each business involved will be issued with a letter to write on their Christmas bauble and they will also be decorating and personalising them.
Children wishing to take part in the trail will be able to collect a Christmas Bauble Trail form from the BID’s stall on the day of the Christmas Extravaganza.
Participants must take it back to the stall in order to collect a chocolatey prize.
CEO of CDSSG, Julie Duff said: “I’m extremely grateful that the Northwich BID has offered to sponsor us through this activity and aid our ongoing activities and initiatives.
“The Northwich Christmas Extravaganza is one of the main highlights of the year and we’re particularly pleased to be able to play a part in it!”
Northwich BID manager Jane Hough added: “Supporting the local organisations within the community is extremely important to us and I’m pleased that the both of us have managed to come together to provide something not only for the charity but also for the community as a whole.”
