Following the resounding success of the Classic Ibiza concert at Capesthorne Hall at the end of June, with dance music pioneers Ministry of Sound, a date has already been set for next summer’s concert.
So, make sure you keep Saturday 29th June 2019 free if you want to experience the heady blend of Balearic beats performed by the Urban Soul Orchestra, a live DJ and a host of globally renowned vocalists.
Lisa Ward, Director of Revival Productions, organisers of Classical Ibiza, commented: “Aside from the fantastic tunes and performers, what I really love about Classical Ibiza is that it is a family-friendly concert.
“The show has two halves, the first being a chill-out set where people can soak in the atmosphere in the delightful grounds of Capesthorne and enjoy their picnics.
“Then, as the sun begins to fade, the music gets turned up a notch and the audience are transported to an alfresco night-club with accompanying lasers.”
Lisa added: “There were so many family groups at this year’s show made up of kids, parents and grandparents. I think this is why the atmosphere was so incredibly friendly.
“We want to make Classic Ibiza a permanent fixture in the Cheshire social calendar, so we are delighted to be returning to Capesthorne next year.”
Stephen Hussey, conductor and founder of The Urban Soul Orchestra, added: “As soon as we complete our six-venue tour of England we will begin planning the tracks for next year.
“Going by the reaction of the crowd at our concerts so far, we have really hit the spot with the tunes, but we will definitely want to freshen things up to make the concert even better.
“We have got a few ideas that we are knocking around already, so watch this space!”
