Come and muck in down at the farm!

If you’re looking for new and rewarding experiences this year, why not lend a helping hand to the team at Tatton Park?

The farm at Tatton is hosting a volunteer open day on 18th and19th January 2020.

Fascinating characters

The Tatton Park farm team is looking for confident and sociable people of all ages and backgrounds to help bring the ‘Field to Fork’ characters to life.

They include the Miller, Teams-man and Land Army Girl.

Those taking on the roles will form part of Tatton Park’s family-orientated Horrible Histories-style guided tours of the mill.

Volunteers will also be involved in running some of the newly restored mill machinery.

A spokesperson for Tatton Park said: “You may have a true passion for life on the farm and its traditional farming methods or simply enjoy storytelling and interacting with our visitors.

“Whatever your passion and drive you’ll be in good company with a great team of people.”

Get involved

Full training in all aspects will be given. If you can spare any time, please get in touch with the farm team to arrange a chat over a cuppa!
