Crewe Cemetery and Crematorium open day

Promotional feature

Crewe Cemetery and Crematorium is to host an open day on Saturday 15th September to answer the question: ‘what happens when the curtains close?’

The event is being organised by Orbitas Bereavement Services, who want to raise public awareness on the services available to you from both Orbitas Bereavement Services and local funeral directors.

You can take part in a tour of the crematorium and cemetery, hear about recent improvements that have been made, learn about new services available, see how a grave is dug or trace your family history.

A spokesperson explained: “We’re inviting people to attend and find out more about what we do for the community. Our team will be on hand to answer any questions you may have and put your mind at ease.”

Orbitas’ experienced staff will be available throughout the event to answer questions and there will also be exhibits and stands from funeral directors and memorial suppliers, together with talks taking place throughout the day.

The event will culminate in a service filled with ‘Golden Memories’ at 2pm where those attending will be invited to light a candle to commemorate a loved one lost.

The open day takes place on Saturday 15th September 2018 (11am – 2.30pm).

if you have ever wondered what happens when the curtains close – or ever had a question on bereavement, the cemetery or crematorium – this is your chance to ask.

For further information, and for your ‘Golden Memory Heart’ please contact The Cemetery Office on: 01270 685 545.
