That’ll Be The Day, Tuesday 22nd – Wednesday 23rd October (7.30pm)

The UK’s premier rock ‘n’ roll production returns with The Best of That’ll Be the Day! This very special edition of the show presents the most popularly requested songs, impressions and comic sketches from over 33 years of That’ll Be the Day. Featuring smash hits from the 50s, 60s, 70s & 80s, don’t miss an evening of music and nostalgia.

Thunder – Unplugged and Unscripted, Thursday 24th October (7.30pm)

This autumn, British rock band Thunder celebrate their 30th anniversary, swapping arenas and festivals and hitting the road with their new tour Unplugged and Unscripted. Founding members Danny Bowes and Luke Morley will take you through the high and lows of Britain’s most popular rock band and play fan favourites live on stage.

How We Made – The Golden Age of Canals, Thursday 24th October, (7.45pm) Lyceum Studio

Did you know that Cheshire has more miles of canal than any other county? Canals were the life-blood of the first industrial revolution. They ushered in a ‘golden age’ that lasted until the railways came along and would have disappeared completely if it were not for the efforts of a few committed individuals. Using extracts from his BBC film ‘The Golden Age of Canals’, David Parker tells the uplifting story of how a small band of enthusiasts rescued this quintessential part of our national heritage.

Chicago Blues Brothers, Friday 25th October (7.30pm)

The high-octane, adrenaline-pumping musical mash-up is back with a brand new mission! The Chicago Blues Brothers are heading to Detroit to take on some of the biggest and most loved Motown anthems along with the Blues Brothers classics you know and love. With hits from Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, James Brown, The Temptations, Jackson 5 and more, this promises to be the biggest party show the UK has ever seen.

Seaside Terror, Friday 25th October (7:45pm) Lyceum Studio

Pack your bags and join us for a trip to the seaside…but you’ll get more than what you bargained for. Upon arrival, the only other inhabitant of the dilapidated pier is a rather sinister ice cream man, and he’s got some stories to tell. Stuffed with fun frights and ice cream chills, this nostalgic and visually stunning show using puppetry and composed music to fill the stage with nerve shattering shocks.

Gary Meikle – The Ibrow Guy, Sunday 27th October (7.30pm)

Scottish comedy award winner and viral sensation Gary Meikle is back with a bang and new brows after racking up over 100 million views with a rant about his daughters eyebrows. During his second show he’ll guide us through the eyebrow etiquette, logic and laws, how it’s changed his life and how he feels about being known forevermore as they eyebrow guy.

Crimes on the Coast, Tuesday 29th – Wednesday 30th October

A secluded island hotel just off the English coast becomes a crime scene, as a scandal-inducing femme-fatale is felled. All the guests on the island are suspects, but are they along and is all quite what it seems? Inspired by Agatha Christie, Noel Coward and PG Wodehouse, you are invited on a hilarious but murderous trip to a classic English Riviera retreat.
