Cheshire West and Chester Council is reminding parents and carers with children due to start primary school in September 2019 to apply for a place by the deadline (15th January 2019).
Children born between 1st September 2014 and 31st August 2015 must apply for a primary school place by the deadline.
Applications can be made online by visiting: www.cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk/admissions.
Alternatively parents/carers can contact the Council on 0300 123 7039 to obtain the ‘Starting Primary School in September 2019’ booklet which includes a paper application form.
Anyone who applies online will be able to access their account after 12:30am on the national offer day (16th April 2019) to view their allocated school place.
An email will also be sent later in the day to each applicant.
It is important that applications are made by the closing date of 15 January 2019 as any received after this date will be considered late.
Late applicants are likely to put at a disadvantage if a preferred school is oversubscribed with applications made on time.
