Once again Tabley House near Knutsford - convenient for J19 of the M6 - is the venue for the Warrington Horse Show. Visitors are expected to come from right across the region, including: Merseyside, Yorkshire, Lancashire, Staffordshire, Manchester, Cheshire – based on information from feedback forms in previous years.

The Warrington Horse Show, which originated in the 1890s, is a fabulous family day out.

It is unique as it offers classes for all levels of ability as well as a variety of breeds from mighty shires to miniature horses.

Show rings with various equine classes including Fancy Dress Class, Heavy Horse Parade, Driving Class, Side Saddle and the wonderful national and international show jumping will enthrall visitors young and old.

It’s not all horses, Working Dog demonstrations always amaze the audience too.  Around 6,000 visitors are set to enjoy the day.

Well known Competitors from across the country will be trying to qualify for the prestigious Horse of the Year and the Royal International Horse Shows later this year.

“We have recently introduced a public grandstand alongside the main show jumping arena so that visitors to the show may sit and enjoy the top spectacle of show jumpers and horses on display,” said Helen Dailey, chair of Warrington Horse Show.

As well as top showing and competition, the Warrington Horse Show will also offer family entertainment including circus skills workshops, brass band, donkey rides, farmers’ market, delicious refreshments and catering.

“We have wonderful catering and licensed bars on site – to keep you fed and watered whilst enjoying the shopping experience in our comprehensive trade stand area”, said Helen.

The show offers entertainment for the family whether you’re competing, supporting a rider or simply want a great family day out.

The Warrington Horse Show is on 29th May from 8.30am.

Admission prices are £10 for adults and £5 for children, special discount applies on advanced tickets through EventBrite.
