FAB Festival announces advanced tickets pricing for Friday night
Advanced ticket prices have now been announced for FAB Fest’s Friday night ticketed concert by the much anticipated headliners 90s alternative rock band, ‘Lightning Seeds’.
Since hitting the music scene in 1989, ‘Lightning Seeds’ have experienced national and international success with their songs featuring in the UK and US music charts making it big with hits including “Pure”, “Lucky you” and “The life of Riley”.
Tickets can be bought online at www.fabfestival.co.uk for the advantageous price of £21.50 per individual and £60 for a family (including two adults and up to three children 16 years and under).
Supporting ‘Lightning Seeds’ are three fabulous local bands, ‘Shakedown Stockholm’, ‘Plastic’, and ‘The Luka State’. So, don’t wait at the gate to pay the full rate.
Named as an homage to an Adidas trainer, the seven-piece rock outfit ‘Shakedown Stockholm’ has not one but two sets of twins! This two year old band has been recently discovered by BBC Introducing, gaining ‘Shakedown Stockholm’ radio play time.
They were also introduced by former ‘The Smiths’ guitarist Johnny Marr, when performing at the Etihad Stadium on the BT City Square Stage. ‘Shakedown Stockholm’ is currently on tour around the UK with their newly released single “Silence”.
‘Plastic’ is a four piece grunge/alternative rock band influenced by 90’s music by groups such as Green Day and Weezer.
As they just had their debut in December of 2015, they are now on a local tour of the UK in cities such as Stoke and Manchester and are in the middle of writing an album. At the end of 2016, ‘Plastic’ teamed up with fellow Cheshire band ‘Brine” for the split EP entitled “The Light the Dark, and the Overwhelming Nothing.”
Called “the epitome of rock-n-roll”, ‘The Luka State’ is expected to be the next ‘U2’ or the next ‘Coldplay’. This indie rock band has completed self-funded tours across the UK, Europe, and North America and have also gained radio play time on BBC 6 Music, BBC Introducing, and Keerang! Radio.
‘The Luka State’ has also collaborated with ‘Game of Thrones’ star Thomas Brodie-Sangster on multiple occasions for music videos such as “30 Minute Break” and “Rain”. Currently, ’The Luka State’ has upcoming shows across the UK for 2017.
