Knutsford band Fine Lines will be appearing again at the Pub in the Park festival when the event returns to The Lambing Shed on Saturday 8th June.
They’ll join Glaswegian rock giants Texas as well as hip hop group Stereo MCs when the festival pops up following a successful first year in the town in 2018.
Fine Lines singer and lead guitarist David Boardman can’t wait to return.
He said: “We had an incredible time last year joining the likes of Mel C and Razorlight on stage and are hugely flattered and very excited to be asked back again.
“This year we will be playing tracks from our new album, ‘Gaslight Roses’, some old favourites from ‘Hour of Need’ and maybe even a cover.”
2019 is shaping up to be a good year for the band.
As well as releasing their second studio album and heading out on tour with folk rock band Merry Hell, Fine Lines also had their first play on national radio.
‘My Time Again’, which was penned by David and bandmate Mark Radcliffe, was heard on Tom Robinson’s Saturday night BBC Radio 6 Music show back in February.
Fine Lines is a six-piece band which features fiddle player Emily Doggett, singer Zoe Blythe, keyboard player Gary O’Brien and bassist Anthony Jardine.
The band has been together for three years and rehearses regularly at Knutsford Little Theatre.
Pub in the Park 2019 takes places at The Lambing Shed from 7th-9th June.
