Former chef at Chester Grosvenor joins Flat Cap Hotels group

Steven Tuke, formerly at The Chester Grosvenor with Simon Radley, has joined Flat Cap Hotels in the role of executive chef.

Steven's first priority is managing the kitchen team and overseeing all food at the recently re-launched Vicarage Freehouse & Rooms in Cranage, near Holmes Chapel.

Steven commented: “I'm delighted to be part of the team at Flat Cap Hotels, we have some exciting plans for The Vicarage and have re-launched the menus, including the afternoon tea which is receiving great feedback.

“I'm looking forward to putting the restaurant on the map in the region.”

The group has recently acquired - and secured planning permission to convert - Knutsford’s former sessions house, despite objections from Knutsford Town Council regarding the extension and development of the building. The venue is due to be named “Court House Hotel” when work is completed.
