New pop-up restaurant comes to Chester

Phil Green to bring tasting menu to The Townhouse in Chester

One of the North-West's top chefs will be taking centre stage at recently refurbished venue The Townhouse in Chester for his inaugural pop-up restaurant later this month.

Phil Green, of Amorous, will take over the 1699 Bar & Brasserie at Townhouse on Lower Bridge Street on Friday 26th January.

Following a sparkling reception, guests will be seated and welcomed by Phil as he introduces a five course tasting menu.

This will begin with an ‘amuse bouche’ and then a ‘carpaccio of Cumbrian venison’. The seasonal and locally-sourced menu will also feature a vegetarian alternative.

Guests will enjoy a delicious fish course of roast bream before the main course - a trio of pork - and finely tuned accompaniments.

To end, a sweet and the chance to grill the chef, who has worked at his profile venues including Chatsworth House, Tatton Park and Titanic Hotel Liverpool.

Phil will conclude the evening at the stunning Georgian townhouse by mingling and chatting with guests.
