Promotional feature – Adoption Counts

If you live in and around the Cheshire East area, talk to Adoption Counts, your regional adoption agency.

You don’t have to be ‘perfect’ to adopt a child or children, since each adoption is as unique as the people being brought together.

In order to meet the needs of children waiting for a forever family, we encourage enquiries from a diverse section of the community, irrespective of gender, sexual orientation, disability, race or faith.

You can be single, in a civil partnership, married or co-habiting – all applications are welcome and treated equally. Adopters do come from all walks of life.

There is no upper age limit for adoption, although you need to be over 21 – and you would need to be able to look after a child until they become an adult, and ideally be there to support them beyond this point.

You can adopt whether you rent or own your own home, as long as you have stable living arrangements and the space to accommodate a child or children.

With so many children in desperate need of a forever home and parents who can love and nurture them, Adoption Counts is continually trying to raise awareness about adoption, in the hope that more and more people will pick up the phone to start their adoption journey.

We are currently looking for adopters for children of all ages and we currently have children aged 2 and under who need families.

However, we are always very keen to hear from people who will consider older children, sibling groups, children of a black and minority ethnicity background and children with complex needs.

Adoption is truly life changing. Your family will always be our focus and our team is passionate about giving the very best care and support at every stage of the adoption journey and beyond, to achieve the best outcome for both adopters and children.

Rest assured, we will be by your side through everything, guiding you through the process from the moment you enquire and after your child joins you in your new life.
