Turners Nursery is hosting a special event to raise money for the RSPB on Bank Holiday Monday 1st May, from 10am until 4pm.

It's bound to be a great day out with a hanging basket workshop (11am), live music from The Sounds Tijuana Tribute Band (1pm) and plenty more lined up for visitors to the nursery on Knutsford Road in Alderley Edge.

They will also be offering shoppers 20% off selected seasonal products.

Margaret Turner, managing director of Turners Plant & Garden Nursery said: “We're looking forward to supporting the RSPB as it's such a worthy cause.

“Birds are a large part of our British country side and culture, and here at Turners we understand their importance in our gardens.

“Our special event can offer a great day out with free Windermere ice cream available, interesting bespoke products for your home and garden, willow sculptures and amazing raffle prizes donated by Turners.

“We also have a honey bee observation hive and bee keeper to answer questions about the beautiful bees and some adorable donkeys too!

“Come along to say hello and join us for a glass of bubbly.”
