Hunt is on for dragon eggs this Easter weekend

Does a dragon lurk under Beeston Castle’s bridge?

English Heritage is inviting families to head to Cheshire’s “Castle of the Rock” this Easter weekend for an action-packed adventure.

The hunt is on for dragon eggs at Beeston Castle & Woodland Park.

Children will become an apprentice to Beeston’s very own chief dragon hunter and set out on a quest in search of the legendary dragon.

They’ll be kept busy cracking clues and learning how to protect themselves while capturing the dragon’s treasure with sword skills en route.

If they crack the clues as they explore the castle’s 40 acres of woodland park, there will be a chocolate reward upon completion of the quest.

The Easter Adventure Quest is a great way for the whole family to get out and about in Cheshire this spring.

Recruits will need a thirst for adventure, a quick wit and a taste for chocolate if they are to succeed!

The Easter Adventure Quest runs from 11am-5pm throughout the Easter weekend (from Good Friday, 30th March until Easter Monday, 2nd April).
