Knutsford Academy celebrates ‘excellent’ A Level results

Knutsford Academy is hailing another superb set of A Level results for its sixth form students this year.

29% of all grades were at A* or A, with 86% of results graded A* – C and for the fourth year in a row there was a 100% pass rate.

Delighted headteacher James Whittaker commented: “These results underline the consistently high levels of achievement secured by students at the Academy over the last few years.

“Students and teachers must be congratulated on their hard work and commitment.”

Results this summer included:

Josie Brookes: A*, A*, A, A (going to study Veterinary Science at Cambridge)

Alex Lunnon: A, A, A (going to study History at Oxford)

George Keeble: A*, A*, A (going to study Maths at Bristol)

Becky Lynes: A, A, A (going to study Geography at Bristol)

It was a ‘doubly pleasing’ day for twins James and Tom Woods (pictured below) who both achieved straight A grades.

James will study Mechanical Engineering at Bristol University and Tom will study Aerospace Engineering at Bristol University.
