Ladies invited to lunch in aid of local charity

‘CAFT Tropicana’ is the theme for this year’s Ladies Lunch at The Mere Golf Resort & Spa in aid of local children’s charity The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust.

The charity regularly sells out for this fantastic event, so organisers are urging anyone who may wish to attend to get in touch asap to avoid disappointment.

This year’s event will take place on Wednesday 13th June and tickets are on sale for a modest £50.

The event will be hosted by the inimitable Paul Sleem who will keep guests entertained throughout the day packed full with fun and fundraising and attendees will also be joined by special guests and charity patrons.

A totally tropical cocktail reception will launch the event in style at 10.30am, guests will then be invited to shop until they drop at the numerous stalls on offer. They will also be treated to pampering sessions, demonstrations and give-aways.

And that’s just the start! The charity will be holding their unique special raffles, an auction with amazing prizes and without doubt a few special surprises and treats along the way!

Guests will be serenaded by the King of Tropicana – a George Michael tribute act who is sure to have everyone dancing in the aisles!

All will be kept well fed with a delicious meal and each person attending will go away with a luxury beauty case plus specially donated gifts.

Pippa Watton from CAFT is organising the event. She commented: “This event grows in popularity each year, word really is getting out that CAFT’s Ladies Lunch is one of the premier lunch events in the society calendar!

“It’s such a full, fun-packed day which is excellent value for money.”

She added: “We are in great need of sponsorship and quality auction and raffle prizes, to help raise funds at the event for our work with ill, disabled and disadvantaged children, and I would love to hear from anyone interested in helping.”
