Saughall Rotary new members event

Rotarians in Saughall hoping for new recruits for 2016

Saughall Rotary Club is looking for new members.

The group’s new member event will take place on Thursday 21st January (from 7pm onwards) at the Vernon Institute in Saughall (postcode: CH1 6EN).

A spokesperson explained: “Rotary is a worldwide organisation serving the local community and on an international level such as eradicating polio,” adding: “We are a diversified club with an equal ratio of gender with a broad age range (30-70).”

Past events run by the group include: beer festivals, dragon boats, race and quiz nights as well as Santa floats. All money raised or collected goes directly to charity, with no overheads.

Saughall Roatarians meet every Thursday night at the Church Rooms in Saughall at 7.30 pm and occasionally in the Greyhound pub.

If you want to give something back to the community, this could be the organisation for you!
