Bunbury Mill to appear on tv again

Bargain Hunt team visit Bunbury Mill

In June 2017 the BBC's Bargain Hunt team visited Bunbury Mill and spent a morning filming the historic mill and its grounds.

Presenter Eric Knowles was shown around the mill, and discussed the history of Bunbury Mill and milling in general with volunteer miller Peter Robinson.

The resulting film will form an interlude between the Bargain Hunt buying and the auction, which took place the following day at Peter Wilson's auction rooms in Nantwich.

The programme will be shown on BBC 1 at 12:15pm on Monday 20th November 2017.

It can also be viewed on BBC iPlayer for 7 days after transmission if you miss it, or just want to watch it again!

A mill spokesperson said: “We are grateful to the BBC for choosing to feature our lovely mill - built in early Victorian times, and still producing fine flour.

“The mill is now closed for maintenance work during the winter - watch our website for further information. Meanwhile, here is an opportunity to pay us a visit and see the mill working from your armchair!”
