Middlewich FAB Festival encouraging regional traders participation

Following a record-breaking Middlewich FAB Festival last year, event organisers Middlewich Town Council have their work cut out to make the event even bigger and better for 2018, but that’s exactly what they plan to do.

Their plans consist of bringing even more food and drink options to Market Field, including a Prosecco bar, new for FAB Festival 2018.

Returning favourites will include: Beetlejuice Cocktails, Boston Shakers G&T Bars, Coffee on the Kerb and Yarwood’s Farmhouse Ice Cream.

Add this to a wealth of traders already confirmed, and the main festival site will offer a wide variety of products for visitors to enjoy.

Striving to support regional businesses, Middlewich FAB Festival offers the opportunity for traders to reach thousands of potential customers over a three-day duration.

It’s a ‘FAB’ chance for festival goers to experience artisan goods and support locally produced delicacies from the local region.

One of the most popular attractions at the festival is the floating market, which is already almost fully booked for 2018.

This will stretch from Town Bridge to the Big Lock, with many old favourites coming back, plus the addition of some new traders too.

This year’s headline act for Friday night’s ticketed concert is Peter Hook & The Light. Peter Hook  or ‘Hooky’ is founding member of globally-acclaimed bands Joy Division and New Order.

There has already been a huge amount of interest and ticket sales are already strong, which indicates that there will be yet again a large crowd attending Middlewich FAB Festival 2018.

Jean Eaton, chair of the events committee for Middlewich FAB Festival commented: “As the festival continues to evolve, we want to create new opportunities for artisan businesses to reach a potential of thousands of new customers.”

Jean continued: “We have two secure locations for the traders, which are Market Field where the main stage is held, and Canalside Salinae.”

A large percentage of traders will be concentrated on the main festival site, Market Field and organisers promise plentyof activity taking place to bring in the crowds, from which the traders will benefit.

Early bird tickets for Peter Hook & The Light at Friday night ’s concert can be purchased at the ‘FAB’ rate of £19.50 per person or £57.50 for a family ticket (with up to three children) at available only until 3rd April 2018.

Traders interested in the retail zone (or participating in other areas) can download the relevant forms via the website.
