The annual Nantwich Food Festival took place in the heart of the historic town of Nantwich from Friday 30th August to Sunday 1st September 2019.
The free event featured two chef demonstration theatres showcasing local and celebrity chefs.
The celebrity chefs this year were Rosemary Shrager, who has made TV appearances on The Real Marigold Hotel, The Big Family Cooking Showdown and I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here; Saturday Kitchen presenter Matt Tebbutt; and actor-turned-chef Sean Wilson, formerly of Coronation Street.
There was also live music, street entertainment, competitions and over 200 food and drink exhibitors.
Live music acts included Callum Wright, Uke Waves, Footsteps, Megan Lee, Tokyo Misfires, May Dog Davies Band and Oli Ng.
Park and Ride car parks were located at Nantwich Town Football Club, Barony Park and Brine Leas Academy.
The Nantwich Food Festival operates as a not-for-profit endeavour, organised and run by a dedicated team of volunteers, for the benefit of the town.
Over 40,000 visitors are estimated to have attended over the three days providing a £2 million benefit to the town’s economy.
