Mark is Green candidate for Eddisbury
Mark Green is standing for the Green Party in the constituency of Eddisbury.
He has lived in the constituency, in the village of Moulton, for over 15 years and currently lives there with his wife and three children.
Mark is described as being active in local community work - standing up for communities that have challenges, working with different agencies to promote community safety, representing his community in the operation of a local hazardous waste facility as well as being a primary and high school governor.
Mark also works with charities helping them to engage digitally, and told us that his faith is at the heart of his politics. He is currently training for ordination in the Church of England.
Mark said: “I believe there is a different way of doing things, and I’m standing to make a difference.
“I am standing for the things that matter, the people of this country and the world; I’m standing for a properly funded education system that doesn’t land our children with a lifetime of debt; I’m standing for a housing policy that ensure everyone has fair access to a safe and secure roof over their heads; I’m standing for policies that protect and enhance the planet we live on.”
He concluded: “I’m standing for the things that matter. If they matter to you, then please stand with me and vote Green.”
