Review: Jaguar XF Sportbrake

Motoring journalist, Tom Wiltshire, headed to Portugal to put Jaguar’s sinuous and sexy estate car to the test.

In Jag vocabulary, Sportbrake equals estate car, but in all fairness the XF Sportbrake doesn’t look much like your average estate car.

It may have a capacious, and very usable boot, but that’s where its similarity to a ‘normal’ estate car ends.

The Sportbrake is a stand-alone design, not an XF saloon with a big box bolted on the back; it’s good-looking, but is also a practical family or business workhorse.

How did it perform on its Portuguese adventure?

Tom Wiltshire gives his view on the iconic brand’s take on the estate car.
