Bluedot festival announces 2018 dates

Dates announced following mind-blowing second year

Following a successful second year at Jodrell Bank, near Holmes Chapel, organisers of the Bluedot festival have revealed that the event will return for 2018.

The unique festival, which takes place in the shadow of the great Lovell Telescope at Jodrell Bank Observatory, fuses music, science, arts and culture to create the most amazing spectacle under the stars.

Next year’s Bluedot festival will take place 20th – 22nd July, promising yet another stratospheric weekend in Cheshire.

Following a phenomenal response to Bluedot 2017, those interested in the three-day festival of discovery can now sign up for pre-sale tickets.

Creative director, Ben Robinson, said: “We have been overwhelmed with the love shown for Bluedot following its second edition.”

He added: “The community of people that have come together in a unique celebration of music, science, art and culture is truly spectacular.

“We are excitedly planning next years festival and look forward to welcoming everyone back to Bluedot for another weekend of discovery.”

Bluedot 2017 saw thousands of revellers descend upon Jodrell Bank to see headliners Pixies, Orbital and Alt-J. Next year’s line up will be announced in the springtime.
