Wilmslow Fitness and Wellbeing Week
Wilmslow Business Group, supported by Wilmslow Town Council and the Wilmslow Partnership, has organised a Fitness and Wellbeing week taking place from Monday 23rd until Friday 28th January 2017.
In order to raise awareness of the numerous fitness activities, sporting societies and organisations within Wilmslow, the business group has put together a guide to showcase fitness and wellbeing activities available within the town.
‘Fitness and Wellbeing Week’ in Wilmslow is a chance for local residents to discover some of the many opportunities available.
Even activities such as reading a book, or taking up more exercise, can promote a positive mental health and contribute towards making the town happier and healthier.
Chairman of the Wilmslow Business Group, Catherine Mackenzie commented: “After the excesses of December, many people look at how they can improve their fitness and wellbeing; whether joining a gym, a running club or attending a yoga class.”
She added: “We hope that it will promote the huge array of things to do in Wilmslow and help us all tone up!”
