American football team in Chester is recruiting new members

The Chester Romans American football team is recruiting.

Chester Romans is one of the oldest teams in British American football, having been established in 1985, and the club is currently on the hunt for new players for the season ahead.

The team has had a hugely successful current season, reaching the playoff quarter finals, and is now looking to improve on that next season.

The team will be holding the sessions on 14th, 21st and 28th January 2018 (11am-1pm).

The idea is for new players to head along and see what the sport is all about.

The first two sessions will be held at the Cheshire County Sports Club in Upton, CH2 1PR.

The third session will be held at Blacon Playing Fields, CH1 5BD, where participants will get the chance to see the University of Chester Legion play the Bangor Muddogs in their Division 2 match afterwards.

No previous experience of playing the sport is necessary, just an enthusiasm to try something new.
