Star-studded comedy gala returns to Storyhouse


Our Rita’s Comedy Club is returning to Storyhouse in Chester this Saturday (31st March) with another hilarious comedy gala, bringing together some of the UK’s best names in live stand-up.

The star-studded evening takes place in the intimate Garret Theatre at Storyhouse, and features a headline set from Live at The Apollo funnyman Justin Moorhouse.

Comedian, radio presenter and actor, Justin has performed on Live at The Apollo and Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow. He also appeared in Peter Kay’s Phoenix Night’s as Young Kenny and has guest starred in Open All Hours.

Joining Justin will be award-winning comedian Brennan Reece and Lindsey Santoro, along with  MC Danny McLoughlin.

Brennan voices the narration to ITV2’s hit show Survival of the Fittest and has supported some of the biggest names on the comedy circuit on recent tours, while Lindsey Santoro is a BBC New Comedy Award semi-finalist.

Keeping the audience on their toes, host for the evening is Danny McLoughlin who has previously supported big names acts including Sarah Millican, Sean Lock and Micky Flannigan.

Jack Ryan, managing director of Our Rita’s, said: “We are delighted to be returning to Chester at the end of March after the last show at Storyhouse earlier this month proved to be huge success.

“The night features an incredible line-up of comedians which are certain to be a big hit with audiences and I would urge people to get their tickets fast!”
