Shares

Northwich Library will be closed for two weeks at the end of February to allow for the installation of self-service technology.

To make returning items quicker and easier for everyone during the closure, issue dates will be extended and residents will be able to use other nearby libraries.

Northwich Library will be closed from 25th February until 9th March 2019.

It will re-open at 9am on Monday 11th March and staff will be on hand to help customers with the new technology.

During the closure, additional works will also take place – including reconfiguration of the space, shelving replacement, re-carpeting and minor re-decoration.

Opening hours will be extended at Barnton, Sandiway and Weaverham libraries so that they are open six days a week during those the fortnight-long closure in Northwich.

In addition to their usual opening hours:

  • Barnton Library will open 9am-5pm on Tuesdays (26th February and 5th March)
  • Sandiway Library will open 9am-5pm on Wednesdays (27th February and 6th March)
  • Weaverham Library will open 9am-5pm on Thursdays (28th February and 7th March)

Opening hours of all libraries are available on the council’s website and items can be renewed online or by phone 24 hours a day: 0300 123 7739.
