The Full Monty comes to Storyhouse


The Full Monty comes to Storyhouse in Chester from Monday 24th to Saturday 29th September 2018 – and tickets go on sale today (Monday 12th March).

The cast will be led by Gary Lucy (Luke Morgan in Hollyoaks) as Gaz.

He’ll be joined by Andrew Dunn (best known as Tony in Dinnerladies) as Gerald, Louis Emerick  (Norman the Doorman in Benidorm) as Horse, Joe Gill (Finn Barton in Emmerdale) as Lomper, Kai Owen (Pete in Hollyoaks) as Dave, and James Redmond (Finn in Hollyoaks).

The 2018/19 tour will be directed by previous cast member and Coronation Street actor Rupert Hill.

The Full Monty is one of the most acclaimed British films of all time, and as such The Full Monty stage play has gone on to become one of the most phenomenal theatrical productions.

The production follows six out-of-work, impoverished steelworkers from Sheffield left with nothing to lose. They took the world by storm and the story has gone on to become one of Britain’s most successful shows.

Based on the smash hit film and adapted for the stage by Oscar-winning writer Simon Beaufoy (Slumdog Millionaire), this hilarious and heartfelt production has received standing ovations from audiences every night.

It also features the iconic songs from the film by Donna Summer, Hot Chocolate and Tom Jones.
