The Mere Golf Resort & Spa in Knutsford has been awarded with Investors in People (IIP) accreditation, recognising its commitment to investing and developing its employees.
IIP is the international standard for people management – defining what it takes to lead, support and manage people well.
The IIP framework helps organisations measure performance, drive improvements and recognise success both internally and externally.
IIP evaluated The Mere, benchmarking the Knutsford-based golf resort and spa business against other high-performing firms and looking at best practises.
Accessors praised The Mere in several areas, including: leading and inspiring people, empowering and involving people, and living the organisation’s values and behaviours.
Investors in People specialist Ande Macpherson commented: “We would like to congratulate The Mere Golf Resort & Spa on their Investors in People accreditation.
“It represents the sign of a great employer and continued commitment to success that they should be proud of.”
Clair Smith, HR manager at The Mere said: “We are delighted to have received the Investors in People accreditation.
“It sets out how the very best organisations manage, develop and lead teams, which is why we are working with them to help support us on our journey to be the best resort in the North of England.”
