Cheshire entrepreneur named LEP deputy chair

Cheshire entrepreneur Trevor Brocklebank has been named deputy chair of Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP).

The announcement follows the recent announcement of Clare Hayward’s appointment as chair of the LEP.

Speaking about his appointment, Trevor commented: “This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside Clare and board colleagues to support the LEP’s executive team in driving forward the economic success of Cheshire and Warrington.

“As a long-standing Cheshire resident, I am excited at the prospect of helping to shape our future and to making a real difference for those that live and work in our region.”

Clare Hayward, chair designate, said: “I am delighted that Trevor has accepted this important role and am very much looking forward to the opportunity of working with him.

“His impressive record of building successful businesses, and his passion for Cheshire and Warrington, will bring valuable skills and experience to the LEP Board.”

Trevor and Clare will formally take up their roles on 1st April 2020.
