English Wine Week is a national campaign, designed to raise awareness of English wines.
It incorporates a wide range of activities and events which take place across the country, and The Wine School of Cheshire is proudly taking part in the celebrations again this year.
English Wine Week begins during the late May bank holiday (27th May 2019).
It marks the start of the tourist season, and the vineyards themselves will be waking up to the new growing season – there is plenty to see and enjoy!
The Wine School of Cheshire works closely with Wines of Great Britain (WineGB), and over recent years has presented English wines to visitors at The RHS Flower Show Tatton Park and they’ll be back at Tatton again this year, in The Feast Theatre.
In a slight twist – since Chester is just a few miles from the Welsh border – wine school is proud to feature both English and Welsh quality wines during this year’s event at Restaurant 1539, Chester Racecourse.
It’s all fair play, as English Wine Week and Welsh Wine Weeks both run concurrently!
The Wine School of Cheshire has just 4 tickets left for ‘The Great British Grape Off!‘ on Saturday 1st June.
