Weaver Wander celebrates a decade of fundraising journeys

The tenth annual ‘Weaver Wander‘ charity classic and sports car rally set off in Nantwich on Saturday 18th May 2019.
Over 150 car and motorcycles assembled for viewing from 8am at Nantwich Football Club car park and departed at 10am.
There were numerous MG, Porsche, Triumph, Mini, and Bentley vehicles on display as well as an AC Cobra.
Vehicle owners could follow either a 70-mile route or a 40-mile route through local countryside to Hankelow Hall in Hankelow.
Nantwich mayor Cllr Arthur Moran waved-off each vehicle.
Fuzz Townshend – motoring journalist and tv presenter from Car SOS – was present at the event and was interviewed via Facebook Live during the grand depart.
The event was organised by the Rotary Club of Crewe & Nantwich Weaver.
The nominated charities for the 2019 Weaver Wander are: Supported Community Business (Special Needs) Ltd, St Luke’s Cheshire Hospice, CHANCE homeless project along with other local Rotary causes.
