A ‘small and intimate’ supper club event at Knutsford Market Hall is being hailed a complete success.
20 people pre-booked tickets for an evening of beautiful wines and food, with Market Cafe owners Steph and Ollie making sure the menu was on point.
With Ollie’s background in French cooking, the pair devised the menu with a Gallic slant.
The meal was complimented with a glass of fizz on arrival and wines specially-selected by Morgan Edwards (also available to purchase on the night).
The menu made the most of fresh ingredients sourced from fellow traders at Knutsford Market Hall – including Mike’s Poultry and Provisions, Edwards and Emmess butchers and Jonty’s Fruit and Veg.
Commenting on the true team effort involved, Ollie Chadwick commented: “We love what we do here in the Market Café, producing top quality food in a very small space!
“The Supper Club was a great success – it really showcased what a hidden gem the Market is.
“We have some top-quality traders in our market and the menu made use of everything we have to offer the community.
“If the club helps bring people to the market who don’t normally visit, then that is an added bonus.”
Another supper club is planned for June – with a menu yet to be decided, although it will make use of the fresh produce in the market.
Numbers will again be limited to 20 to and tickets will be available soon from Morgan Edwards or The Market Cafe.
