Make Events chooses Wilmslow for ‘House of Make’

Corporate event agency Make Events is moving from its current office base at Stanley Green Business Park to a new site in Wilmslow.

The move will mean Make Events more than doubles the amount of office space it occupies when its new Wilmslow base opens next month.

Holly Moore, founder and MD of Make Events said: “We have kept lean for the last six years and grown in a considered and stable manner.

“We have now built up enough resilience to be able to give our team the ultimate office experience as well as our customers.”

Award-winning interior designer Toni Horsfield has been appointed to help facilitate the office move.

She commented: “It is a joy to work with such a progressive brand.

“Holly’s vision for the space has been clear from the start and we have been able to really tailor the office to reflect the Make Events DNA; quotes and all!

“I think it is going to be an extremely creative workspace with some very happy colleagues.”

In order to provide the ultimate experience for employees, clients and suppliers, the newly dubbed ‘House of Make’ will be a collaborative office space, designed to increase employee enjoyment, attract new talent and boost creativity.

Holly added: “The coffee and champagne will always be in abundance with the odd event thrown in too; we welcome clients, suppliers and local businesses to pop in any time.”

As part of Holly’s growth plans for Make Events, she has appointed Catherine Godsland, who will be joining the business on a consultative basis.

Catherine’s role is to support expansion and account development ambitions, whilst also being a mentor to the Make Events team.
