The Crewe & Nantwich Breakfast Show on The Cat 107.9 FM has welcomed a new presenter, Gary Johnson.
Gary will be live on air between 7am and 9am each weekday morning.
His first show was broadcast on 29th July and provided listeners with updates on national and local news, together with sports and showbiz updates every hour.
Gary will also be updating listeners with traffic and travel information as well as playing a great selection of music throughout his show.
As Gary originates from the North East, he is an avid Newcastle United fan but since moving south he also supports Nantwich Town.
He is a specialist tax consultant, a master of ceremonies and also a compere.
He’s asp been heard co-presenting ‘The Purrfect Afternoon’ every Wednesday on The Cat with Chris Cadman.
Gary said: “I’m delighted to be the new breakfast show presenter on The Cat and I’m really looking forward to getting started with helping and entertaining our listeners on their way to work every morning.”
The Cat managing director, Chris Cadman added: “We are delighted to be able to bring a fresh, new, live local breakfast show to our listeners.
“Gary Johnson has previously presented a number of shows on The Cat 107.9 FM so he will be known to many as that cheeky Geordie who will now be waking us with a local breakfast show.”

The Cat is the local community radio station, broadcasting 24 hours a day from Cheshire College South and West.
The station covers Crewe, Nantwich, and the surrounding villages and rural areas as well as Sandbach and Alsager.
The Cat is the only licensed community radio station in Crewe and Nantwich and is a not for profit organisation run entirely by volunteers.
