Do you fancy yourself as a bit of a Jamie Oliver or Nigella Lawson? Then why not put your talents to good use for St Luke’s and host a ‘Simple Supper’ with friends?
St Luke’s Simple Suppers campaign is running throughout 2018 to celebrate 30 years of the hospice care in the local community.
It’s being billed as a fabulous social event which you organise in your own home to raise money for the hospice.
Those wishing to take part simply invite their friends or family round and serve a delicious ‘Simple Supper’ in return for donations to the hospice.
To give you inspiration for their Simple Supper initiative, St Luke’s will release new recipes on their website each month – starting with chicken and leek pie for January.
Phil Pettitt, head chef at St Luke’s Hospice, said: “Simple Suppers is an easy and fun way to help fund the care we provide at St Luke’s.
“The recipes I’ve chosen are simple and quick to prepare so you don’t have to be a skilled cook to create a delicious meal that your family or friends will be impressed with.
“The recipes can be adapted so feel free to swap any of the ingredients for something similar you may have in your fridge.”
He added: “Why not get creative in the kitchen and help St Luke’s celebrate our 30th anniversary in style?”
