Wilmslow Show 2019: musicians wanted

The organisers of this year’s Wilmslow Show are looking for talented local musicians to perform on the ‘band stand’ at the event, taking place on Sunday 7th July.

The team behind the Wilmslow Show are hoping to find some young (or not so young) performers who are looking for some performance experience to join the line-up at this year’s show.

Whether you are a solo performer, a duo, part of a band or ensemble (and no matter what sort of music you play) if you want the opportunity to play to people in Wilmslow, in a relaxed environment, then this could be for you!

Show chairman Angela McPake said: “We already have a number of acts committed to play in the band area, including the very impressive Magic Voices Choir, but we have two gaps we still want to fill.

“In our continued quest to showcase the best that Wilmslow has to offer, we just thought it was a great opportunity to see if there were some new performers starting out who either want a showcase or who want some experience performance.”

If anyone is interested in performing at the Wilmslow Show, please contact Angela by emailing [email protected] or call 07443 334 344.

A recording/clip of you performing would be helpful.

This year’s Wilmslow Show will take place on Sunday 7th July at Wilmslow Carnival Field on Altrincham Road (11am-5pm).
